CASE STUDY: ConnectRochester
Business Portal and Marketing Campaign
Marketing for regional economic development results in
greater opportunities for individual companies and organizations,
but also for an entire region. Our efforts in this area
of cooperative marketing focus primarily within the photonics
and biomedical industry clusters of our economy. The results
stimulate investment, help recruit talent, and differentiate
our regional brand position.
Our work in this area includes:
ConnectRochester:
The Partnership for Greater Rochesters New Economy
Interactive
website with searchable commercial property listings,
compendium of links to area business, educational and
research organizations, and comprehensive archive of regional
business news and achievements.

Telecommunications Industry
A print advertising
campaign and companion website promotion featuring
the accomplishments of area high-tech companies and their
people ran in national trade publications. The full-page,

in the Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster who co-sponsored
the ads.
