Cognitive Marketing is pleased to be providing Hudson Valley Community College (in partnership with New York State Energy Research and Development Authority), communications materials for their new training and education center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative Renewal Technologies (TEC-SMART) in Saratoga County.

The facility is adjacent to the Luther Forest Technology Campus, a campus designed for nanotechnology manufacturing and research and development which recently added a new computer chip manufacturing facility, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD). TEC-SMART will begin offering classes in 2010 and will help meet the needs of AMD and the growing renewable energies field by providing the trained workers they require.

The new TEC-SMART facility will allow Hudson Valley Community College to expand existing programs, such as the Photovoltaic Installation Certificate program and the Electrical Technology: Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology associate’s degree program, and build on Hudson Valley Community College’s longstanding commitment to technology education.
