Lois Niland joins the Cognitive Team as Director of Research.
Cognitive Marketing is delighted to announce the appointment of Lois Niland as Director of Research and General Manager of Cognitive Research Services. Market research that informs leadership and guide decision-making has been a key ingredient in Lois’ work for a broad array of organizations throughout her career. Lois started her career at IBM, on the team that developed the first laptop PC. In 1989 she moved to Xerox as Manager of Market Research. A trained moderator and facilitator, Lois has assisted many non-profit organizations in gathering the constituent input they need to increase the success of their operations. Lois holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Cornell’s Johnson School of Management. She did advanced management training at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC and the IBM Training Center in Belgium. Lois serves as President of the Johnson Club of Rochester; Trustee of the SUNY Brockport Foundation Board; Vice Chair of the Visual Studies Workshop Board; and Vice President of the Board of GEVA Theatre Center.
